Day 2: Excursion to Cherrapunji (Sohra)

• Elephant Falls: Located about 12 km from Shillong, this three-tiered waterfall is nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a serene ambiance and picturesque views. 
• Duwan Sing Syiem Viewpoint: A popular stopover offering panoramic views of the verdant valleys and mist-covered hills of the East Khasi region.

In Cherrapunji:

• Nohkalikai Falls: Standing at 1,115 feet, it's the tallest plunge waterfall in India. The waterfall is fed by rainwater collected on the summit of a small plateau and is surrounded by lush greenery. 
• Seven Sisters Falls (Nohsngithiang Falls): This seven-segmented waterfall cascades over limestone cliffs, especially spectacular during the monsoon season.

Day 4: Shillong to Guwahati via Umiam Lake

• Visit Basistha Temple: Located in the southeastern part of Guwahati, Basistha Temple is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple's origins are intertwined with ancient legends, notably serving as the hermitage of the sage Vasistha, one of the esteemed Saptarishis in Hindu tradition. According to local lore, Sage Vasistha meditated at this site, and it is believed to be the place where he ended his life. The temple, constructed by Ahom King Rajeswar Singha in 1764, is situated near the Garbhanga Reserve Forest and is surrounded by picturesque streams and waterfalls.

Day 6: Guwahati to Kaziranga

• Morning:
  • Departure: Leave Guwahati early morning for Kaziranga National Park.
  • Distance: Approximately 195 km via NH27. 
  • Travel Time: Around 4–5 hours by road
• Afternoon:
  • Check-in: Arrive and check into a lodge or resort near the park.
• Jeep Safari (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM): Embark on an exhilarating afternoon Jeep safari in one of Kaziranga's four zones

Each safari lasts approximately 2 hours and is conducted with a registered guide and armed escort for safety.

Day 7: Wildlife Safari in Kaziranga
